A keen sportsman, Matt had never been into watersports until moving to the Sunshine Coast a few years ago. As he began researching water activities he discovered Fliteboarding, and the powered aspect of the sport intrigued him. “I took a lesson and just loved it,” Matt says.
Fliteboarding offered Matt something he hadn’t experienced in other sports: the thrill of flying over water, the physical challenge, and a profound sense of freedom.
“It’s a full-body workout. You can push yourself as hard or as little as you want and get whatever you want out of it,” he explains.
Over time, his dedication to Fliteboarding led him to become a top performer in the eFoiling world and in 2023, he was inducted into Flite’s Performance Team, where his wing-breach carving is legendary. He also runs a Fliteschool so he can help others discover that same joy of eFoiling - and we can confirm his enthusiasm and passion are infectious.
