Adam Bennetts grew up surfing on the Gold Coast, going pro when he was 18 years old. In 2018 his brother introduced him to prone foiling, which has been his addiction ever since. Fliteboard made eFoiling feel "surfy," the feeling he was chasing.
"I paddled into a wave off little Wategos in Byron Bay and ended up being on foil for over 1 hour. The swell and wind direction were just perfect and created these convex waves which would go back out to sea, so I was literally going around in circles for 1 hour. It was one of the craziest experiences of my life!"
