How to install RACE handles

Fliteboard’s fastest eFoil is your ticket to the front of the pack. RACE is precision-engineered with the experts at Mercury Racing to deliver top speeds up to 55km/h / 34mph. With a custom designed red anodised alumiumium RACE impeller, nothing else looks or performs like it. 

The longer, narrower board slices through the water with a sleek, low-drag profile. At 4’10” and 58L, it’s the perfect length and volume for fast takeoffs. An integrated tail kicker, flat water racing mast position and signature rosso stripes will have you feeling every inch a racer. 

When you receive your board, handles will be in the box. You can install them if you’d like. It is totally a matter of personal preference. Here are the simple instructions if you choose to do so:  

Step 1

On the deck of the RACE board, you will find 4 pre-drilled pilot holes where the handle screws are to be positioned. Tighten the 4 x handle screws into the pre-drilled screw holes in the nylon block of the board using a Phillips head screwdriver. Force is needed. Ensure you do not burr the screw heads. Tighten the screws until the heads of the screw sit 8mm off the deck of the board.

Step 2

Now place the handles over the screws. Push down to ensure a snug fit, then rotate the screws 90 degrees using the designated handle tool to lock the handle into place. Repeat this step for the remaining handle.

It’s as simple as that. Now RACE is ready to ride and you are ready to satisfy your need for speed.
